SAUO – UOAS

Société d'archéologie de l'uOttawa – uOttawa Archaeology Society

Congratulations to our 2012 uOAS Fieldwork Bursary Recipient

François Lavigne, a first year Masters student in Classical Studies, will be receiving $500 towards his fieldwork this summer. He will be excavating with the Gardun Project, in Trilj, Croatia. The project is excavating a Roman military fortress from around the first century AD.

Throughout the year, the uOAS raised $250 that they could put towards this bursary. We wish to thank the Students’ Association of the Faculty of Arts for matching the money we raised so that we can offer our recipient a bursary in the amount of $500 for the second year in a row.
